Team building focused on communication
The Story A new team launches to Mars every three years, with the goal of arriving there as a crew. But the mission can only begin once the team has deciphered a code, which consists of several smaller codes. Solving it correctly requires the expertise of every single astronaut. First, the group is divided into several astronaut teams, with each team finding itself in its own chat room for the online simulation. A countdown of 26 minutes is visible to all - and an empty field where a code of characters or numbers must be entered. But which one? The team members eventually discover that they need to arrange the information fragments in a logical order to obtain the numerical code so that contact with the Mars station can be re-established in the first step.
The Process - Mission to Mars consists of a total of three rounds of 26 minutes plus a short, easy unit of 26 minutes. With each round, the challenge and complexity for team members increases. Let yourself be surprised...
The Learning Effect - After each round, the entire group comes together and reflects: What worked, what didn't? With each unit, the team learns something new and receives sufficient input for the final reflection.
Special Feature - The four units of the Communication Team Event can also be spread over a longer period across multiple dates. This gives your team the opportunity to transfer its insights into everyday work!
