Light Juggling and Business Entertainment

The performance and room situation have a decisive influence on the success of the performance, so that communication between myself and the audience works well. The ideal setup is the classic theatre situation: guests are seated with a view of and close to the stage. If guests at evening events are spread out over a large area of the room, standing in conversation at high tables, the view of the stage is restricted by pillars and the performance takes place late in the evening, this quickly makes the performance insignificant. I do not necessarily need a large stage with high ceilings; 3x3x3 metres is often sufficient (and even less is possible), with basic equipment for lighting and sound. The performance duration can be agreed individually. Some guidelines: Show at evening events: 15 - 30 mins. Evening programme is also possible up to 60 mins. Performance with talk and juggling crash course up to 60 mins. Multiple performance blocks are also possible.

I am happy to tailor my performance to your event's occasion and theme. In particular, content design enhances the performance. Key concepts and topics, company-specific content are presented imaginatively, humorously, playfully, artistically, with sophistication, respectfully, individually, appreciatively, pointedly, … and perhaps also critically. The outside perspective in particular can be valuable and appealing. I often try to avoid (overly) promotional/marketing-oriented connotations, also because I believe credibility quickly disappears when I, as someone external to the company, speak about company-specific messages. My performance wants to appeal to people, not brands! Each case, each topic, each event is different. I tailor my approach to your situation individually so that it feels right for me. If necessary, it is important to discuss potential pitfalls and content/verbal stumbling blocks in advance. I do not normally provide word-for-word text scripts of a performance in advance, partly because the text without juggling and performance is not very meaningful and only exists in final form shortly before or at the performance. Company logos, symbols, words and even faces and images can be visualised as part of light juggling using an LED stick. Light juggling is often integrated into my performance. Incidentally, light juggling does not require complete darkness; a performance is possible in most cases as long as there is no direct sunlight/little daylight. "Light painting" refers to a form of video art (and has nothing to do with juggling in the first place). Light painting video art can be combined with and presented alongside various show/juggling elements (especially light juggling) and offers various possibilities for staging and also integrating image/video material. I cooperate with a video artist for this.
