Das 1929-1930 errichtete Gebäude (auch Kantgaragen oder Serlin-Rampenhaus) wurde bis 2017 auch als Garage genutzt. Es ist mittlerweile ein Baudenkmal. Ende 2016 wurde die Immobilie an den Investor Dirk Gädecke verkauft. Der neue Eigentümer hat festgelegte denkmalpflegerische Ziele einzuhalten, wird es aber auch nach wirtschaftlichen Kriterien betreiben. Angedacht ist eine Galerie und Büronutzungen. Im Dezember 2021 wurde bekannt, dass das Stilwerk hier 2022 einziehen wird.
