What is the event photo box and how does it work?

A photo box (photobooth) is a mobile photo booth for events. Your guests stand in front of the camera, use fun props and create wonderful keepsake photos via touchscreen. The images are saved digitally immediately and - depending on the package - printed directly in laboratory quality.

It's the mood maker for almost any occasion: weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, Christmas parties, trade fairs, anniversaries or club celebrations. Wherever guests come together and celebrate, the photo box provides entertainment.

Question 3

Collection & Return: How flexible are you?

Accepted Answer

Very flexible! You can usually collect the photo box 1-2 days before the event and return it at your leisure afterwards. We only charge for the actual day of use.
Collection: We show you everything on site briefly or you can use our video instructions for self-collection.
Return: Thanks to our video-monitored return room, you can return the box outside opening hours (you'll receive the access code from us).

Question 4

Is setup complicated and how long does it take?

Accepted Answer

No, setup is child's play and takes only about 10 to 20 minutes. You don't need any technical knowledge.
Simply place the photo box on the stand, connect the printer, plug in the power and start. We provide detailed instructions (video & PDF) with it.

Question 5

How much space and what connections do I need?

Accepted Answer

We recommend an area of approximately 2x2 metres so guests have enough space.
Power: A standard 230V socket connection nearby is sufficient.
Table: A standing table or side table for the printer and props is necessary.

Question 6

Do I need supervision on site?

Accepted Answer

No. Our systems are designed as "self-runners". Once switched on, the box runs automatically all evening. If paper needs to be refilled, it's done in two simple steps. However, we also offer on-site support staff upon request.

Question 7

Can I choose the design of the prints?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can choose from many existing templates or we can create a custom design for you (e.g. with the names of the bride and groom, date or company logo).
Format: Choose between classic strips (5x15cm), postcard format (10x15cm) or large formats.

Are the photos limited?

Accepted Answer

Digital: Unlimited! You can take thousands of photos.
Prints: This depends on your package. However, we always provide enough paper so the printer doesn't run out. If you print more than included in your package, this will be charged fairly. In 99% of cases, the included volume is completely sufficient.

Question 9

Can the photo box be placed outdoors?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but it must be covered and weather-protected (tent, canopy).
Avoid direct sunlight on the screen or camera lens. The backdrop must also be protected from wind.

How do booking & payment work?

Accepted Answer

1. Book your desired date directly via our online system.
2. You'll receive a confirmation by email.
3. Payment is conveniently made upon collection (cash, Twint or card).
For corporate customers, we're happy to provide an invoice/quote in advance.
