The musicians Peter Teichmann and Klaus Hofsäss, well known from various music formations such as "Dauerstress" and "Van Teichmann", started an additional band project about four years ago, of a completely different kind.
As a chanson duo, Peter & Klaus dedicate themselves to songs that tell stories.
Sometimes funny, sometimes thoughtful and insightful. They interpret the songs, which are partly well-known and partly rarely played, intuitively and condensed to the essentials.
Peter Teichmann not only sings the songs - he lives them and is accompanied by Klaus Hofsäss on piano in a brilliantly intuitive manner. A soothing sound in times of frequently overproduced music tracks. And this style is gaining more and more followers. However, the repertoire of singer-songwriters like Klaus Hoffmann, Reinhard Mey, Stephan Sulke, and Mario Hene, to name just a few, also appeals to them.
