HELMNOT is one of the largest independent cultural organizations in Germany. In the shortest time, the company became nationally and internationally known through its extraordinary theater ideas and art projects. The poetic, modern, and sometimes surreal imagery of HELMNOT is touching. The legendary productions have convinced hundreds of thousands of viewers so far.
In the touring theater sector, the team travels more than 120,000 km per year across Europe to the whole world. The artist company, founded in 1995, is based in Liechtenstein/Saxony.
Surreal visual productions with giant stages, figures up to 6 meters high, and moving steel objects are just a fraction of the constantly growing repertoire, which also includes fantastic stilt, puppet, and dance theater, gigantic open-air spectacles, and poetic stage shows.
On 9,700 square meters, there are artistic workshops such as theater sculpture, costume and decor sewing, metal and wood workshops, model making, etc. Huge production halls and modern studios are complemented by rehearsal rooms, dance hall, graphic/photo studio, management, and project rooms.
Year after year, numerous new highlights are created in the own workshops for international indoor and outdoor events.
