YASSAS – The Greek Way - Southbank

Bring your guests together at YASSAS Southbank for Greek food, shared plates and a riverside celebration. Our Southbank functions offer birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, family occasions, hens and bucks gatherings, as well as corporate events. We can help you choose an arrangement that suits your group and the occasion.

Our dedicated Southbank functions page lists three named spaces. The Yarra View is the right balcony, with unrestricted river views and a private setting for up to 24 guests. The Bridge Terrace is the left balcony, with views towards the Yarra and Princes Bridge and space for up to 20 guests. The Bougainvillea is a pergola setting with cascading flowers and Greece photography, also listed for up to 20 guests. Confirm the privacy arrangement for this area, as our broader celebration information describes it as semi-private.

For a larger gathering, the current Southbank functions page lists full exclusive venue hire for up to 150 guests. This option includes the smaller spaces rather than adding to their capacities. Choose Greek meze, sharing mains and desserts, with optional beverage arrangements and menus tailored to your event. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available to discuss. Our meat sourcing includes halal-certified suppliers, but Southbank also serves pork, so please confirm preparation and menu suitability for your group rather than assuming an entirely halal operation.

We welcome families, with high chairs and a children’s menu. The Southbank venue offers alfresco dining and live music on Fridays and Saturdays; confirm the programme for your date.
