Twang Brewing

Celebrate your birthday, engagement, wedding or private occasion at Twang Brewing in North Melbourne. We welcome groups of up to 70 guests and can tailor the main bar, street seating and beer garden around the style of celebration you have in mind. Private functions are available seven days a week by arrangement.

Our main bar overlooks the working microbrewery, so fresh rotating craft beers are part of the setting rather than just the drinks list. We also offer cider, wine, cocktails and mixed drinks, giving your guests plenty of choice. Rustic décor and a relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere make the venue well suited to a sociable gathering with friends and family.

You can include catering in your event arrangements, bring your own food or organise an external caterer. We work with your needs and budget rather than use a single standard package. There is no booking fee or deposit; functions are typically arranged around a minimum spend, with the details agreed for your occasion.

If you are planning music or entertainment, our AV and speakers are set up for DJs, small bands and comedians. You can also use our iPad-controlled Sonos system for your own playlists. For a private evening function, you can decorate and configure the space to suit your plans. Children and dogs are welcome, and we provide children's books, colouring and toys as well as dog bowls and blankets. We encourage a viewing before you book so you can see how the areas work together.
