Trainscendence

Host your next birthday, wedding, corporate offsite or creative gathering at Trainscendence in Collingwood. We bring together seven themed spaces, including two rooftop train-carriage areas, and six bars in one playful venue. You can book a room for a smaller occasion, combine selected spaces or discuss a whole-venue takeover for up to 400 standing guests.

Our spaces support more than parties. Workshops, classes, screenings, rehearsals and community events are part of what we do, with weekday room bookings and dry-hire options for activities where drinks are not the focus. Bio-Cycle offers a plant-filled setting with natural light for workshops and intimate gatherings, accommodating 50 standing or 30 seated guests. For more room to move, an In-Flight Entertainment and Bio-Cycle booking combines two rooms for up to 105 standing or 80 seated guests.

The rooftop contains our two train spaces and patios, with the distinctive carriages forming part of the experience. Across the venue, you can choose from spaces such as Platform Infinity, Magic School Bus and In-Flight Entertainment. The whole-venue option includes all seven spaces, including the rooftop train areas, bars and AV, with 400 standing or 250 seated guests listed for the combined booking. The room section presents our seven individual spaces plus three combined booking options: In-Flight Entertainment with Bio-Cycle, the Whole Rooftop and the Whole Venue Takeover. These options overlap; their capacities must not be added together.

For Christmas parties, celebrations and creative events, we can discuss a suitable room and booking format. Minimum spends, booking duration and dry-hire availability vary by space and time. BYO alcohol is not permitted because we operate as a licensed venue.
