The Woodhouse Wollombi is a 100-acre private estate located near Wollombi in the Hunter Valley, approximately 1.5 hours from Sydney. The property offers exclusive use for wedding celebrations, with ceremonies unfolding across five distinct locations: The Willows (lakeside setting framed by willow trees), The Pines (elevated position with juniper tree framing), The Paperbarks (organic space with filtered light), Central Courtyard (contemporary architectural setting), and Infinity Lawn (open views with sculptural focal point).
At the heart of the estate sits The Woodhouse, an architecturally designed reception venue featuring 7-metre ceilings, 4-metre windows, and capacity for up to 150 seated guests. The space includes a freestanding fireplace, inside/outside bar, outdoor undercover dancefloor with fairy lights, outdoor firepit with integrated lounge seating, and a commercial sound and PA system. Large doors connect the interior to outdoor courtyards and surrounding grounds, allowing celebrations to flow between spaces.
On-site accommodation across the estate accommodates up to 33 guests, including The Barnstay (group accommodation for up to 15 guests), The Soho Suite (private bridal suite), and Redwood Park Eco Suites (eight off-grid luxury suites with 8.3-star energy rating). The outdoor terrace provides seating for 60 guests and serves as a space for post-ceremony drinks and cocktails. Catering is provided by exclusive partner Fennel & Co, which designs seasonal menus featuring locally sourced ingredients. The estate features manicured gardens, mature trees, native plantings, a central lake, and an over-water pavilion. Parking is available, and the venue is wheelchair accessible and pet-friendly.

We had our wedding at The Woodhouse Wollombi on 19 September 2026 and it was without a doubt the happiest, most special day of our lives! Casey, Chris and Gabby took care of us from start to finish, even implementing changes on the day to make the whole experience just a little more magical. Special thanks to the lovely Brooke for being so attentive and helping me down the aisle, as well as the gentleman (whose name I didn't get!) who started a 50-person conga line on our dancefloor! He was one of the highlights of our night and our guests have not stopped talking about him. There are not enough words to capture what makes The Woodhouse so special. We are just extremely grateful to the team for their role in bringing our dream to life and will never forget all the little moments that made our wedding the best day ever.

We could not recommend The Woodhouse Wollombi more highly as a wedding venue. My husband and I got married here in April 2026 and had the most magical day. It was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Casey, the venue coordinator, was absolutely sensational. She was incredibly knowledgeable, organised and on top of every little detail throughout the planning process. She was always willing to help, went above and beyond wherever she could, and made us feel completely supported from start to finish. Having someone like Casey helping bring everything together made such a difference to our experience. Guy and his team behind the bar were also fantastic — fun, friendly and incredibly efficient, and they helped create such a great atmosphere throughout the day and night. The venue itself is simply beautiful and so incredibly well maintained. The gardens were absolutely stunning and provided the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and photographs. Every part of the property has so much charm and character. We are so grateful to the entire Woodhouse Wollombi team for helping make our wedding day so magical and memorable. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue or a better team. Highly, highly recommend The Woodhouse Wollombi! 🤍

Wonderful stay in one of the new eco suites (previously took the family to stay in the barn a few years back). Peaceful outlook, warm and spacious, thoughtful decor and added touches. Perfect hosts!
