The Shelbourne Hotel offers multiple event spaces within one venue: The Rooftop, LINQ Bar (30–200 cocktail, up to 100 seated), Market St Garden Bar (up to 500 cocktail, up to 150 seated), and Full Venue Hire (up to 1,100 cocktail). Each space features a private bar, bathrooms, and AV facilities for presentations and music. The venue specialises in corporate events, private functions, cocktail parties, seated dinners, and themed brunch events including bottomless bubbles and Aperol Spritz Tower experiences.
The Shelbourne Hotel also operates MV Enterprise, a private luxury Sydney Harbour boat charter accommodating up to 30 guests for corporate entertaining and exclusive celebrations. The venue is available Wednesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner service, with exclusive hire available outside standard trading hours.

Reviewers consistently praise the attentive, friendly staff and the functions team — especially Kelli — for making event planning seamless. Food and drinks earn solid marks, with standout mentions of the bottomless packages and cocktails. A few guests flagged occasional slow service and noise levels, but the overwhelming majority leave impressed and eager to return.
If you want strong cocktails, come here. 4 star rather than 5 because it took 15 minutes to get 2 cocktails which was a bit crazy, the place wasn't even nearly full.
The Rooftop Bar at the Shelbourne Hotel is a fabulous room for any function. I recently had my 60th Birthday there and I couldn't fault it. The staff, food and service were great and all my guests had a great time dancing the night away. Thank you to the wonderful functions manager Kelli and staff for a wonderful night. It certainly gets a 5 star rating from me.
