The Retreat Port Stephens

Bring your wedding celebration, conference, workshop or team retreat to our peaceful bushland property in Anna Bay. At The Retreat Port Stephens, you can combine your event with self-contained accommodation, keeping your guests and delegates together for a longer stay beside the Worimi sand dunes.

For an indoor reception, our combined multi-purpose function space seats up to 100 guests. This 243-square-metre configuration brings the Bush View and Pool View areas together; it is not a third, separate room. Each half provides a smaller meeting setting with theatre seating for up to 50 guests and a U-shaped layout for up to 30. We also offer smaller meeting arrangements in the Ranch and Duplex. Our outdoor grounds provide further options for your wedding and reception, with a natural bush backdrop.

Our conference arrangements can include a projector and screen, whiteboard, microphone and speaker, with free Wi-Fi and tea and coffee options. Onsite team-building programmes and yoga sessions can be arranged, while the dunes and surrounding region offer opportunities to extend your itinerary.

Choose catering to suit your event, from shared platters and buffets to a tailored wedding menu. You are also welcome to bring your preferred caterer or self-cater. Our accommodation buildings have their own cooking facilities, and parking is available at the accommodation.

For your wedding, whole-property bookings provide exclusive use of the venue and accommodation for up to 91 overnight guests. This overnight figure is separate from the function room's event capacity. Cabins, bungalows and larger group accommodation let you plan a stay around your guest list.
