The Redfern is a neighbourhood pub located on George Street in Redfern, offering food, drink, and event hosting across multiple dedicated spaces. The venue features a ground-floor public bar and an upstairs section with distinct event areas. Out Of Bounds is a 70s-style lounge space accommodating up to 50 guests cocktail-style or 28 seated, with access to a glasshouse terrace and private bar. Dining Domain is a refined dining area seating 20–34 guests with street views. The Nook is a semi-private space for up to 30 guests cocktail-style, ideal for after-work gatherings. Exclusive Use of the entire upstairs accommodates up to 80 seated or 150 cocktail-style. The venue serves pub classics, share plates, and seasonal dishes, with over 26 beers on draught, a wine list, and handcrafted cocktails. Live music, trivia, pool, and live sports on big screens are regular offerings. The Redfern is dog-friendly and welcomes groups and corporate events.

$20 rump on Monday nights. Staff were friendly and food was very good. Steak cooked the way I want it which is always a bonus for pub steaks haha

The food is delicious!!! Grass fed steak perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. The correct amount of a delicious salad dressing on the greens and absolutely beautiful fries. Cannot be faulted. Looking forward to trying more dishes. Music was really good. Not too loud and great sound system. My musician companion was very pleased as it is one of his biggest gripes.
