The venue offers three distinct event spaces. The private dining room accommodates up to 14 guests with a private entry on Elizabeth Street and bespoke menu options. The main dining room seats up to 40 guests with customized menus. The entire venue—combining the private dining room, bar, and main dining room—can accommodate up to 75 guests for larger events. All event spaces include catering prepared by the restaurant's kitchen.
The Grand National Hotel features six room types across three heritage levels, ranging from Queen Studio Rooms (20m²) to a King Luxury Rooftop Penthouse Suite (35m²). All rooms include high-speed WiFi, designer bathrooms, premium bedding, and luxury amenities. The hotel offers a Dine & Stay package combining restaurant reservations with accommodation and exclusive inclusions. The bar operates as a separate dining space with à la carte offerings and an extensive wine and cocktail program.

Beyond extolling the quality and preparative creativity of the glistening seafood (esp the oysters - best in Sydney) which is reviewed elsewhere, Saint Peter continues to shine in the attention to detail of its wine service. The list is deep and very well chosen offering gems from major wine regions. However, it is the unique energy and enthusiasm of the wine team that brings the list to table. Kudos Hayden for all the brilliant ideas on the wines by the glass - hardest thing to do in restaurant business - yet again. Every time I have eaten at Saint Peter either Houston or Hayden find a host of novelties that work brilliantly with the particular preparation. I learn something each time. Many thanks guys! Where does one start. Through the glass doors and down the rabbit hole, my journey began. In awe of Saint Peter and Josh for a while but let’s go. The service was impeccable, precise and I could go on. Seamless or faultless. Maybe both. Josh and Tommy, superstars in hospitality that made my experience truly special.. Watching the brigade work as a fine tuned family was a delight. Chef walked past and collected the wooden tray while a waiter finished a description, from that moment I knew I was in for an experience. It’s the attention to detail at every step, it’s fine dining. The food is unbelievably scrumptious and innovative. Fish bone noodles, ok. Totally plays with your mind. Eating a tartlet yet I was sitting at Fortnums eating a Coronation finger sandwich, food memories never fade. The 10 course menu was paced effortlessly and I left not feeling hungry. Hayden took me on a wine journey around the world with his passion and verve. An absolute delight. Celebrating a milestone I chose a place that is obviously worth #66 in the world. The dishes are exquisite. The service was flawless. The room was peaceful. The experience, unforgettable.
Upon entering you walk into the stylish, relaxed bar . Warm welcome , friendly service and the glass of Delamotte Champagne , relaxing in the bar, was a perfect start . Lead through to an aesthetically pleasing dining area with a huge open kitchen , watching all the amazing chefs at work. It was raining persistently that night so looking up at the partial, glass ceiling, gave the place an ( appropriate) aquatic feel and added to the places aesthetics. Also notable, the sound quality. It was a full house, background music playing and my wife and I had no problem hearing each other without having to raise voice. Wine, an incredibly well researched wine list with a friendly, helpful sommelier. We chose a bottle of Aori red wine from Crete after asking how they found red wines to accompany fish dishes. Their research served them well, the wine was a divine drop and accompanied each course perfectly. Food , the 10 course degustation was superb. Each course delivered with a perfect distance in time in between. Served with a friendly description and artistically presented. When it comes to taste. I have never tasted fish in all its variations and glory, so delicious, in my life. Every taste sensation is awoken with each mouthful. Josh, Julie and crew have created the most amazing fish recipes and best fine dining experience available. Thank you
