The George on Collins

Plan your next corporate celebration, birthday, wedding or private dinner at The George on Collins. We offer private and semi-private spaces in Melbourne's CBD, with options for seated meals, standing celebrations and exclusive use of the whole venue. Our team can help match the room, food and drinks to the atmosphere you want for your guests.

For an intimate occasion, the Den has a private entrance and bar, with room for 26 seated or up to 40 standing guests. The Attic is a secluded semi-private area overlooking the main Parlour, accommodating 14 seated or up to 35 standing. The Rumpus suits social gatherings and work catch-ups for 20 seated or up to 25 standing guests. The Loft provides another elevated semi-private option, with a standing capacity of 35; the seated arrangement should be confirmed with us.

The Cellar can be configured for private dining or a larger standing event when extended into the Parlour. For bigger groups, the Parlour offers standing events for up to 350 guests. Full House bookings give you exclusive use of the venue, subject to availability, with final guest numbers and layout agreed during planning. These spaces overlap when combined, so their capacities should not be added together.

Our in-house dining and beverage arrangements support everything from a private meal to a cocktail party. AV facilities can assist with presentations and speeches, and we welcome a discussion about technical requirements before the event.
