The Emerald Peacock

Bring your next private gathering to The Emerald Peacock, where you can choose between an ornate indoor lounge and a covered rooftop in central Melbourne. From an intimate booth booking to a larger celebration, our in-house events manager will work with you on a space and dining arrangement suited to your group.

Level One is an open-plan setting with an integrated bar and a total capacity of 250 guests. Within the floor, the Peacock Lounge accommodates 100 guests, or 140 when the booths are included. The booths each suit up to 15 guests and form part of the lounge rather than additional rooms to count separately. The semi-private Feather Lounge provides another setting, with space for up to 30 seated guests or 70 at a stand-up party. Velvet finishes, ornate mirrors and soft lighting give this area an intimate character.

For a gathering above the city, our covered and heated Rooftop accommodates up to 220 guests in a mixture of seated and standing areas. It can be divided into sections for smaller parties, with greenery and lantern lighting creating a relaxed setting. These areas are alternatives within the venue; their capacities should be discussed for your particular event rather than added together.

We offer canapes, bar food and beverage arrangements, with a banquet menu available where suitable for your event. A screen and microphone can be arranged on prior request. Level One has lift access and wheelchair-accessible toilets; please discuss any access requirements for your chosen area. Decorations need approval from our events manager, and you can ask about arrangements for bringing a celebration cake.
