The Clayton Hotel

Plan your birthday celebration, engagement party, wedding reception or corporate event with us at The Clayton Hotel. Our upstairs function room combines a modern setting with in-house catering, private bars and presentation equipment, making it suitable for celebrations as well as training events and business seminars.

The first-floor function room accommodates events of up to 150 guests. It can be divided into two separate spaces, each with its own bar and guest access, so we can discuss a private or semi-private arrangement to suit your occasion. The full room and its divided sections are alternative configurations of the same function area; their capacities are not additional.

For your presentations, we provide projectors with large drop-down screens, microphones, surround-sound speakers and Sonos music streaming. You can move from a training session or business presentation to a more social gathering without having to choose a different venue. Free Wi-Fi is available at the hotel.

Our upstairs kitchen supports event catering, with food and drinks planned around your gathering. Downstairs, our bistro serves pub favourites, steaks, seafood, pasta and vegetarian dishes, while the sports bar offers a separate setting for casual drinks and watching live sport. Please discuss event menus and dietary requirements with us during planning; our kitchen handles gluten, nuts and dairy, so allergen traces may be present.

We are opposite Clayton Station, which gives your guests a practical public-transport option. Parking is available nearby, and the upstairs function area has lift access.
