The Cheeky Squire

Bring your private celebration or festive gathering to The Cheeky Squire in Frankston. We offer three current function settings, with food and beverage choices that pair modern Australian pub cooking with James Squire’s range of tap beers. Choose a private room, a semi-private bar-and-deck arrangement or a smaller booth setting to suit your group.

Our private Jack of Spades function room accommodates up to 40 guests seated or 100 standing. It gives your gathering a dedicated setting within the venue and is the largest individually advertised function space. Discuss the arrangements for your occasion with our team when enquiring.

For a semi-private celebration, the Sundowner Bar and Deck offers seating for 50 inside or space for an 80-guest cocktail function using the indoor and deck areas together. A smaller Sundowner Bar configuration can accommodate 40 standing. The Swindler Booths provide another semi-private option for up to 35 guests.

Our Stow Away Restaurant serves modern Australian dishes, including pub favourites, seafood, pizzas, burgers and vegetarian options. A children’s menu is available for guests aged 12 and under. Seasonal Christmas dining is also offered, and our team can discuss the appropriate food and drinks for your function.

Guests wishing to stay nearby can book our on-site motel accommodation. Its 11 rooms include free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and tea-and-coffee facilities; please note that all accommodation rooms are reached by stairs and are not wheelchair accessible.
