The Castlereagh Boutique Hotel was just such a lovely staff. The building was beautifully maintained in old vintage charms of the 1920’s with all modern amenities as well. The location is perfect for our staff coming from the Sydney Eye Hospital. The staff were absolutely phenomenal and made my stay so much more peaceful. The rooms are large with a comfortable vintage charm. I loved our time here and felt so at home.

Pros: Rooms were immaculate and they sent me back an item left behind. Cons: They gave a man the key to my room without asking me. Worse still, they initially gave him the key to a stranger's room. That's dangerous! The second time I stayed (alone), a man in the foyer started asking me questions about how long I was staying etc (in front of another male visitor), with no context. I was cautious and uncomfortable, even after I was told that he was the hotel manager and gave me a room upgrade. Why no name tag or introduction to put a woman at ease?
