Sylvan Glen Estate is a 60-acre private property in Penrose, New South Wales, located less than two hours from Sydney and Canberra. The estate offers exclusive-use weekend venues for weddings, corporate retreats, and group stays, with all facilities and accommodation contained within the grounds.
Accommodation options include The Homestead (a heritage guesthouse from the 1870s with 15 ensuite rooms, capacity 42 guests), Scribbly Cottage (320 sqm, capacity 20 guests), and The Hideaway (private suite for two with wood-fired outdoor bathtub). The Reception Centre accommodates up to 140 seated guests and features a bar area and outdoor terrace. A Conference Room serves groups up to 30 for daytime meetings. Ceremony options include outdoor garden settings and an indoor stone chapel.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding venue or more wonderful hosts than Donna and Matt at Sylvan Glen. From the beginning, they were warm, accommodating, organised and genuinely caring, which made the entire process feel so much less stressful. Throughout the wedding weekend, everything ran seamlessly and both us and our guests felt incredibly welcomed and looked after. The property itself is absolutely stunning and created such a relaxed, intimate and magical atmosphere for the weekend. So many of our guests commented on how special the venue felt. Donna and Matt truly care about creating a meaningful experience for couples and families, and it shows in every detail. We’re so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding weekend perfect and will always look back on it so fondly. Highly recommend Sylvan Glen to anyone looking for a beautiful and genuinely special wedding venue.
