Bring your next private gathering to Surry Social, a two-level event space in Surry Hills with different settings for dining and cocktail-style celebrations. Choose the ground floor for a sit-down occasion around a communal concrete table, or Level One for a more informal gathering with a full bar and room to mingle.

The ground-floor space is designed to bring guests together over a shared dining experience. Staff can attend to your food and drinks, with menus and packages curated around your requirements. It is a setting for a group that wants conversation and a meal to be central to the occasion. Discuss your final guest count and table arrangement with our team when planning the booking.

Upstairs, Level One offers a gallery-style setting with clean lines and a minimalist design. The space accommodates up to 60 guests for a cocktail-style gathering, with some seated areas. You can use it for a quieter occasion or a more lively party, with the bar forming part of the setting.

Our sample menus include canapé selections, shared dishes and multi-course dining options. Choices range from bruschetta and smoked fish to lamb, chicken, salmon and vegetarian dishes, with desserts to finish. Each level advertises a minimum spend starting at $2,250 plus a $300 room hire fee. Catering has a minimum of 12 guests on the ground floor or 20 upstairs. Tell us your preferred date, event style and guest numbers so we can agree the area, menu and booking arrangements with you.
