For events, Sugarcane provides a private dining room accommodating up to 24 guests, with the option to expand onto an enclosed balcony for an additional 18 guests. The full venue hire features ocean views of Coogee Beach and a lush interior design. The restaurant offers customizable banquet menus and beverage packages, with function packages starting at AUD 75 per person for food and AUD 55 per person for beverages.
The venue is suitable for weddings, engagements, corporate events, birthday celebrations, hen's parties, product launches, team building, private dining, and networking events. Catering is included with all function bookings. The restaurant also features weekend bottomless lunch service and operates with full licensing. Vegetarian and vegan menu options are available.

As always food and service brilliant. We had a guest who had a medical emergency in the restaurant and the staff were amazing, supportive and very kind. Called an ambulance and helped where they could. Thank you so much for everything
Delicious South Asian flavours ... some dressed sashimi, sweet and sour cauliflower, crab and apple tortilla (couldnt taste any crab, but still delicious ... more pickled shredded apple)
Came here for a dinner one Sunday evening my to celebrate a friend’s 30th. The food was incredible and I had one of the best Pad Thai’s of my life! Awesome service too. $100pp for loads of food and one drink each.
Local gem with views of the beach, serving super yummy southeast Asian food. Fried whole fish is amazing, with punchy authentic flavours and great spice level. duck curry has a lovely spicy flavour. entrees are moorish. good wine list. staff were very attentive. we love coming back
