StoryVille

Bring your birthday, corporate function, engagement celebration, hens night or product launch into StoryVille’s fairytale-inspired world in Melbourne’s CBD. Our cocktail bar offers private and semi-private function spaces, with options for groups of 20 to 350 guests and full-venue takeovers. We work with you to tailor the event around your occasion, from an intimate gathering to a larger celebration.

Themed interiors and theatrical cocktails give your guests plenty to discover. Choose custom cocktail and canapé packages, and discuss DJ, AV and themed entertainment options with our events team. We also offer Christmas-function packages with a Wonderland-inspired setting, while our public programme includes magic, comedy and live entertainment. On weekends, StoryVille transforms from a cocktail bar into a nightclub.

Our food partner is Arcane Fairies, the sister venue beneath StoryVille. You can order food directly from our bar during cocktail-service hours, with function catering and packages discussed as part of your booking. Tell us about your guest numbers, date and preferred level of privacy so we can recommend a suitable arrangement.

Please plan access carefully: our historic venue has two flights of stairs and no lift, so it is not wheelchair accessible. Neat casual dress is required. StoryVille is an 18+ licensed venue, with guests under 18 permitted only when accompanied by a parent or guardian and leaving by 9pm. Entry is via Waratah Place, and reservations are strongly recommended for groups and busy weekend sessions.
