The restaurant accommodates groups through two distinct event configurations. The Private Dining Room offers an intimate setting within the venue, while exclusive hire of the entire location accommodates up to 92 seated guests or 120 guests in cocktail format. Contemporary Australian cuisine is the focus, featuring seasonal produce and shared tasting menus available for group dining from 11 persons onwards.
Access is facilitated by multiple transport options: the venue sits adjacent to the McMahons Point ferry wharf (8 minutes from Circular Quay), with regular bus services to the area and water taxi availability. Street parking is available on Henry Lawson Avenue, Blues Point Road, and East Crescent Street. Wheelchair access is provided via ramps, with accessible parking nearby. The venue includes on-site catering and operates lunch service Monday to Sunday, with dinner service daily.

Food is superb, the menu is designed with passion and cooked with love. Service is excellent, the host checked with myself upon entry what is the occasion. Being my wife’s birthday, they added a happy birthday and candle to her dessert. Atmosphere, Sydney harbour. Speaks for itself.

Had a lovely lunch here on a beautiful spring day. My partner and I both started with a real and fake oyster which were delicious. We moved onto the scallop which could've been warmer followed by the snapper. We washed it down with a fantastic extremely hard to find white burgundy which was an amazing recommendation by the somellier. Would definately recommend.
Loved our lunch, great food and service. Highly recommend a visit to Sails no regrets will be had.
