Make your next celebration your own at Running Postman Wine Bar in Camberwell. From a small sit-down dinner to exclusive use of the entire venue, we offer several ways to bring your guests together over wine and food. Choose the level of privacy and style of service that suits your occasion, with our team helping you select wines for your event.
For a relaxed standing gathering, reserve a section of the bar for 20–30 people and enjoy a selection of nibbles while you mingle. This option is unavailable on Friday evenings. Our Private Function Room accommodates up to 16 guests seated or 35 standing, with share-plate menu options. For a smaller dinner, the Semi-Private Dining Room seats up to 12 and offers our regular menu and fortnightly specials.
For larger celebrations, you can hire the entire venue privately for up to 100 guests, with roaming canapés and wines and drinks selected for your event. Full-venue hire is unavailable on Fridays during peak seasons. The whole-venue capacity is a single venue-wide maximum; the individual areas are not additional capacity on top of that figure.
Our wine wall specialises in Italian and Australian wines, complemented by Australian and imported beers, spirits and changing cocktails. Seasonal menus focus on share-style dishes, with small plates, charcuterie and larger dishes designed to enjoy together. Running Postman continues the local wine tradition established by Divino Cellars, bringing a neighbourhood wine-bar setting to your gathering.

Love this wine bar. Such a great atmosphere with the most amazing and extensive selection of wine (chose your own adventure) plus great food. Even better that the tram stop is right out front. PS. It’s not on the drinks list, but ask for a dirty gin Martini. Delish.
