Our historic venue offers five principal function areas, which can be booked or combined to suit your occasion. Across the venue's event options, we accommodate gatherings of up to 1,200 guests. Individual rooms and combined bookings have different limits, so we work with you on the appropriate space and layout.

The glass-enclosed Atrium sits at the heart of the venue, alongside the Courtyard and original bluestone Cells. It offers free Wi-Fi, display screens, microphones, staging, DJ facilities and event lighting for presentations, conferences and celebrations. The Courtyard provides an all-weather outdoor setting with heating, retractable awnings and its own bar. Our Heritage Room has a boutique bar, lounge, dance floor, AV facilities and a separate street entrance for self-contained events.

For a more intimate gathering, the Governors Lounge accommodates up to 100 guests standing with its own bar and AV facilities. The heritage-listed Cells can host cocktail or dining occasions, while a private dining experience within cell #1 accommodates up to 10 guests. This small dining option is part of the Cells area rather than an additional independent function area.

Our food and beverage packages include finger food, platters and grazing options, set menus and drinks packages. The team can tailor arrangements for team lunches, networking, product launches, conferences, celebrations and end-of-year functions. Original historic features and modern event facilities give each area a different character, with Southern Cross Station and other transport options nearby.
