Stumbled across Rocker on a day at Bondi and so glad we did. Firstly if you come to Bondi via the 333 bus stay on to the last stop North Bondi you will be a minute away from Rocker. Visited on a Sunday and was suprised to see plenty of British Sunday Roast dinners being ordered. In for a penny so my partner got one and said it tasted grear. I had a lovely dessert. Lots of other superb looking food available. I drank the Bondi summer lager, lovely taste and very refreshing after our walk. Would seem you can eat in the restaurant or bar. We were in the bar sat near the open windows, great place to watch the world go by. Staff were very friendly. A lovely relaxing afternoon, could have stayed longer. We were staying in Sydney so back on the 333 bus to circular quay, which as I say just stopped across the road. Very handy and hopefully you'll get a seat being the start of the trip back.

Had a fantastic experience at Rocker! The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, delicious, and full of flavour. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming. It’s always great to find a restaurant where the food and service are both outstanding. Highly recommended if you’re in Bondi! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic food as ever although the portions have become smaller over time (which anyone who runs or understands what it takes to run a quality restaurant nowadays will appreciate the struggle). But what really stands out is the people. I’ve sat at my chair watching other customers ordering and waiting and eating and having a laugh. I’ve watched the lovely customers and the not so lovely ones too. And as I sat there watching, I realise that customers are becoming a bit of a snob nowadays. It’s as if kindness and respect isn’t something that’s a two way street. Let me get it all as a customer and let me offer my tantrums in exchange. I’ve seen the waiters trying their best to make people comfortable. And one particular lovely young English lady who served us was almost on a marathon keeping us and others well fed. Kudos to the front line staff for taking all the tantrums and yet doing their very best in these difficult times. We must all celebrate local and family businesses like this one. Mistakes happen and imperfection is part of life. But we can all try and be grateful and graceful. Just a word of advice for the lovely family who runs this place. Pls don’t worry too much. For every difficult customer, there are 4 others who admire you. Be kind to your team. They are fantastic and on a learning curve.
