Under owner Ben Hanson's stewardship, the venue blends coastal surf culture with laid-back family-friendly hospitality. The expansive grounds feature a revamped beer garden and backyard with craft beer Airstream bar (five taps), live music deck, and 4x3 metre screen TV for sports. A custom-built playground includes a 4-metre slippery dip and climbing structures. Ben's Bakery Café operates from 8am daily, serving coffee, pastries, and wood-fired pizzas from a Vesuvio oven from midday. The food menu spans pub classics, surf and turf mains, salads, share plates, and tacos. For private events, The Fireplace offers an intimate seated capacity of 20 guests. The venue welcomes families, locals, live music enthusiasts, and surfers with regular programming including trivia, free pool, and weekly specials.
