Maeve Fox

Celebrate your next birthday, engagement, Christmas function or corporate occasion at Maeve Fox in Richmond. We have hosted private functions since opening in 2009, with a choice of private spaces and more casual group bookings beside East Richmond station.

Take over our Entire Upstairs for a cocktail-style celebration with up to 120 guests. Your group has the floor to itself, including a private bar, bathrooms and views of the city skyline. A dedicated bartender and waitstaff look after food and drinks, while a flatscreen TV and wireless microphone let you share photos, videos or a presentation. You can play your own music through AUX or Spotify, or arrange your own DJ.

For a smaller private gathering, our downstairs Den combines a private bar with a built-in karaoke system. It is a popular option for hens and bucks celebrations, with a TV, microphone and the flexibility to arrange private entertainment. Speak with us about your guest count, timing and any security requirements before booking.

If you prefer a relaxed night in the main bar, our ground-floor booths suit casual groups and birthday drinks. We also offer cocktail masterclasses for groups looking for an interactive celebration. Food options range from cheese boards and jaffles to a selection of shareable bites, with menu availability varying by day.

Bring your own cake or desserts and we can cut and serve them without a fee. Decorations are welcome within our venue rules. Private functions have minimum-spend conditions, so we will help you choose the space, date and arrangements that suit your plans.
