Bring your conference, retreat, wedding or milestone celebration to Kyah in Blackheath, in the Blue Mountains. Across our two-acre property, you can combine adaptable meeting rooms, Blaq Restaurant & Bar, the Greenhouse and indoor and outdoor gathering spaces with accommodation on site.
For conferences and business retreats, Brightlands and Evans can be booked separately or opened into one space using their moveable partition. Brightlands offers an 85-inch screen and Evans a 75-inch screen, both with HDMI and ClickShare. The combined arrangement accommodates up to 150 theatre-style guests, with different capacities for dining and cocktail layouts.
Blaq welcomes private and semi-private dinners, cocktail events and celebrations. The restaurant and bar accommodate up to 120 seated or 200 standing guests; including the covered terrace increases this to 160 seated or 250 standing. For a smaller gathering, the semi-private Retreat section accommodates up to 45 seated or 60 standing. The light-filled Greenhouse offers another option, with up to 80 banquet, 100 theatre-style or 120 cocktail guests.
We host wedding ceremonies and receptions, engagements, birthdays and family occasions as well as corporate events. Our team can help shape the setting around your plans, from a focused business programme to a relaxed celebration. Room combinations and restaurant sections overlap, so their capacities are not totals to add together.
Blaq provides tailored catering, including morning and afternoon teas, working lunches, canapés, grazing tables and two- or three-course group dining. Beverage packages are also available. On-site accommodation and leisure facilities let your guests extend their visit, while our events team can discuss menus, room arrangements and the requirements for your chosen date.

A hidden gem with incredible food and genuine hospitality I had the most incredible stay at Kyah. When I arrived, I honestly thought Google Maps had got it wrong - it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. But the moment I walked inside, I realised I'd found somewhere truly special. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The team is young, and every one of them is a lovely person. Riley was a wonderful host - kind, thoughtful, and genuinely interested (and interesting!). Sadly, I couldn't stay a second night because they were fully booked, and the hotel I moved to didn't come close. But dinner on my first night had been so amazing that I came back to eat there again, and I wasn't disappointed. The food is absolutely outstanding. If you're a foodie, this is the place for you. I was dining alone, which I usually dislike, but Ned and Zach made me feel completely at home. They were friendly, chatty, and such lovely company. I can't recommend Kyah enough: real, authentic hospitality, incredible food, and a beautiful atmosphere. Amazing all round.

Stayed for two nights, nothing at all was a let down. Rooms were clean comfortable and stylish Hot tub & sauna option were suck a a nice feature. Restaurant onsite was also great food and drinks. Perfect couples stay in the Blue Mountain, will stay again

Really nice accomodation with sauna and hot tub included in price for those who may want to try! I give it 4 stars because of the music playing in the grounds all day starting at 6:30am.

I highly recommend Kyah. Friendly, professional staff, beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces. Clean and fresh rooms. Plenty to do onsite and on the doorstep to everything the Blue Mountains has to offer.
