Kinselas wins people over with friendly, attentive staff and a genuinely warm vibe across its bars and function spaces. The $15-$16 pub meals, especially the steak, get constant praise for value and taste, while event coordinators and bartenders are singled out by name for making birthdays, weddings and work nights special. A few complaints about overcooked food or billing hiccups surface, but the overwhelming sentiment is relaxed good times, great atmosphere and staff who go above and beyond.
Overall fabulous experience at Kinselas ... great food and service ... with the exception of one staff member (Romain) ... needs to be taken off front line and work in the cellar ... not front of house
I had a great experience at this venue, especially thanks to the manager on site. He was an absolute gentleman and showed what great management and customer service should look like. We attended a private event there last night, and unfortunately, I had an unpleasant interaction with one of the security staff. The manager noticed what was happening, immediately stepped in, listened to the situation fairly, and resolved the issue straight away. I really appreciated his professionalism, calm attitude, and willingness to make sure everyone was treated fairly. It’s not often you come across a manager who genuinely cares and takes responsibility like that. He deserves a lot of credit for the way he handled the situation. Thank you for making a difficult moment much better!
Long, cheap, happy hours with variety
Although a pub is as good as you make it. Kinsellas is turning itself into the place to go to again.. Cheap good meals. Good Layout and vibe And keep a lookout for live entertainment in the basement. The old mortuary.Now called Dead Set. Good entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays.
