Reviews
The most perfect day! Thank you. You all went out of your way to make our proposal so incredibly special. The genuinely warm & caring service, the incredible eye for detail with the food presentation & flavours etc. Nothing was too hard & everything was well beyond our expectations. We will be back!!!!
I’ve been staying at Jonah’s once or twice a year for the past 15 years, and it’s genuinely one of my favourite places to return to which makes it harder to write this review. This most recent stay was, unfortunately, the most disappointing experience I’ve had there.||I arrived as a solo traveller after my partner’s visa delay meant they couldn’t join me. To be fair, Jonah was accommodating and flexible in amending my booking several times to work around the change in plans and I appreciated that.|However, I was placed in Room 8, and the spa bath wasn’t working. When I raised it with the manager on site, I was told they were fully booked and unable to move me to another room. Given that the spa bath is such a big part of the experience (and the price point) at Jonah’s, this was a real letdown, especially with no option to relocate.|I’d still recommend Jonah’s based on 15 years of otherwise wonderful stays, but I’d suggest confirming room amenities are working before check-in, and having a plan in place for when they’re not particularly if a working spa bath is what you’re paying for.
Brilliant lunch if only it was closer. Impeccable service and food
A wonderful one night stay! Greeted warmly on arrival, and shown to our room , bed was extremely comfy, the heating just right. Nothing would ever beat the beautiful view outside our room. |Our menu choices at dinner were delicious ( the roast lamb and steak followed by desserts ). Breakfast next morning the same. All meals presented so well and lots of options to choose from.|A totally relaxing getaway!
