Haymarket HQ

Host your meeting, workshop or business gathering at Haymarket HQ in Sydney's Chinatown. Our customisable event space brings attendees together for meetups, panels and larger meetings, while a separate meeting room provides an option for a smaller discussion. We offer event consultation and on-site support to help you plan the arrangement.

The event space accommodates up to 65 seated or 100 standing guests. A 65-inch screen, microphones and event lighting support your programme, with modular dividers and a breakout area for a flexible setup. Our separate on-demand meeting room accommodates up to eight and includes a screen and whiteboard.

Guest Wi-Fi, printing, a kitchenette and basic kitchenware are available with hire. We do not provide internal catering, but can recommend caterers and help receive food and drink deliveries. Glassware and the kitchenette support your refreshments without promising a full commercial catering kitchen.

Our venue is wheelchair accessible, with lift access and accessible bathrooms. Central and Town Hall stations are within about ten minutes on foot, providing access for attendees travelling across Sydney.

Your team normally handles setup and pack-down, with staff available to guide you. Include that time and a technology check in your booking, or ask about paid setup support. Weekend events may be possible subject to venue and staff availability, with additional security costs. Discuss your programme, timing and requirements before confirming the event.
