Governors Hall

Plan your next business function, dinner party or cocktail celebration at Governors Hall in Hawthorn East. We offer exclusive hire of our pub and outdoor beer garden, giving your group a welcoming place to gather over food and drinks. Our function pack also welcomes sporting clubs, family celebrations and school groups, with event arrangements tailored to your plans.

The venue combines a spacious industrial-style interior with a casual dining atmosphere. A large LED wall screen gives you a focal point for your event, while the outdoor beer garden provides another setting for guests to enjoy. Tell us how you would like to use the spaces so we can discuss a suitable setup and confirm the guest numbers for your occasion.

Our kitchen offers wood-fired pizzas, canapés and set dining menus. You can choose a relaxed selection of bites or a more structured meal, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices identified in the function menu. Please discuss dietary requirements in advance so we can help you choose an appropriate selection.

For drinks, choose a standard or premium beverage package, a bar tab with a limit you set, or a cash bar. Arrival cocktails and additional beverage options can be arranged. Exclusive full-venue bookings are offered on any day of the week, subject to availability and the applicable minimum spend.

If you are bringing a celebration cake, our function pack provides for cake service with a cakeage fee. We will work through catering, drinks and the event details with you before your gathering.
