Good Loco

Create your next photography or video production at Good Loco, our dry-hire studio in Marrickville. We provide the studio and included equipment so you can build a setup around your shoot. You are responsible for setting up the equipment and managing your production, with optional lighting packages available if you need more than the standard kit.

The white cyclorama measures 6 metres by 5 metres by 4 metres high. This describes the cyclorama itself, rather than the floor area of the entire studio. Basic lighting includes four attached Neewer bi-colour LED lights, with stands, polyboards, shot bags and coloured background rolls among the listed equipment. Audio equipment includes QSC speakers and a Behringer mixer.

A dressing room with mirrors, an iron and a clothes rack helps your team prepare between shots. Wi-Fi and air conditioning are available. Access is via stairs, so please consider the needs of your crew and the equipment you intend to bring before booking. Free street parking is available on Carrington Road; parking is unavailable on Myrtle and Harriet Streets.

Our studio is not fully soundproofed. Discuss sound-sensitive recording or noisy productions with us before confirming a session, as weekday noise restrictions may affect your plans. Your booked time needs to include setup and pack-down, and full payment is required before the hire date. Choose the published weekday, weekend or after-hours session that suits your production and confirm the current rate when booking.
