Ginza Teppanyaki

Make your next birthday, corporate function or special gathering a shared teppanyaki experience at Ginza Teppanyaki. We welcome small groups through to parties of up to 200 in Melbourne's CBD, with chefs preparing your meal on cast-iron hot plates in front of you. The cooking becomes part of the occasion, bringing food and entertainment together around the grill.

For a more private gathering, our private dining room accommodates up to 20 guests. A minimum spend of $1,000 applies for lunch and $1,500 for dinner; if the minimum is not reached, a room hire fee may apply. Speak with us about the date, seating session and arrangements for your group, as seating requests are considered but cannot be guaranteed.

We host birthdays for all ages, corporate family events, end-of-financial-year functions, Christmas parties, hens nights, anniversaries and other special occasions. Whether you are bringing clients, colleagues, family or friends, our team can help you choose an arrangement that suits your celebration.

Choose from teppanyaki set menus featuring meat, seafood and vegetables. One set per person is required, and guests in the same group can select different sets. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and Halal options are available; please advise us of dietary needs in advance. Our kitchen prepares foods and sauces in a shared environment, so traces of allergens may remain.

Our fully licensed bar offers wines, sake, cocktails, mocktails and other beverages. BYO is not available, but you are welcome to bring a celebration cake or ask us to arrange one. We also offer children's menus for ages three to twelve. Confirm group conditions and seating times with us before booking; we cannot split bills, and a 15% public holiday surcharge applies.
