Bring your next presentation, conference, workshop or corporate gathering to Gate 8 in East Melbourne. Our event spaces combine an auditorium, configurable workshop room, naturally lit studio and a level-six corporate setting overlooking the MCG and Melbourne Olympic Park precinct. You can choose the room and facilities that suit your programme rather than using one format for every event.

Speakers Corner offers seating for up to 135 people, with a direct connection to the mezzanine waiting area. Presentation facilities include a 4K projector, retractable screen, lectern, wireless handheld and headset microphones, surround speakers and adjustable lighting. The auditorium provides accessible seating, hearing augmentation and an adjacent green room.

For training, workshops or smaller discussions, our Community Workshop has a 75-inch display, video-conferencing equipment, a ceiling microphone, whiteboard and configurable furniture. High-speed Wi-Fi and adjustable lighting support your session, while approved catering and coffee delivery can be arranged through the venue’s services.

Our Studio, Balance 168, offers natural light for classes, workshops and mindful gatherings. It includes yoga mats, blocks, exercise balls, adjustable lighting and temperature control. For corporate lunches, cocktail events, conferences or meetings with sporting-precinct views, consider The Conservatory at Jolimont House on level six.

Gracie’s café in the lobby gives guests a place for coffee and a break between sessions. Discuss the room-specific guest limit, equipment, catering and access arrangements when planning. Jolimont House has its own member and event rules, including an adults-only policy with management-approved exceptions, so confirm the conditions that apply to your selected space.
