Eastside Bar & Grill

Eastside Bar & Grill occupies Level 1 of The Old Rum Store, a heritage-listed warehouse on Kensington Street in Chippendale. The venue features a custom-built Parrilla grill with a Brasero fire box fueled by natural timber, which forms the cornerstone of its cuisine. The restaurant's interior design draws inspiration from New York's meatpacking district, with exposed brick walls, arched windows, a leather-paneled bar with bronze back bar display, and a large mural by street artist Caratoes.

The venue accommodates up to 90 people total and offers a private dining room seating 20 to 40 guests for lunch and evening functions. The private space is available for corporate events, private occasions, and wedding receptions, with curated set menus showcasing wood-fired cooking paired with premium wines and cocktails. Catering is included in all bookings.

The restaurant specializes in dry-aged steaks, premium cuts including Wagyu Tomahawk, and a modern bar and grill menu featuring sustainable options from land and sea. Service includes à la carte dining, dessert, and an extensive wine and beverage list.
