Death or Glory

Plan your birthday, work party, hens or bucks night at Death or Glory in Prahran. Our themed function spaces offer a choice between an intimate tropical bar and a larger room with a stage, with food and drinks packages shaped around your gathering. Both the Island Bar and the Saloon are available without a venue-hire fee; a minimum spend applies and can include food and drinks.

Choose the Island Bar for up to 40 guests. This secluded upstairs space brings tropical décor, a fireplace and a view over Chapel Street together with a private bar. A large dining bench, couches, small tables, barrels and bar stools give your guests different ways to settle in. It suits birthdays, work functions, hens and bucks parties, as well as sit-down meals.

For up to 60 guests, our Saloon adds a private bar, acoustic treatment, a PA system and a stage. It is available for live music, exhibition viewings, product launches and private listening parties, with a projector screen for your event. Discuss your format and any performance or presentation requirements with us before confirming.

Our kitchen serves North American-inspired bar food, including house-made cheeseburgers, fried chicken and poutine. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are available, although we cannot guarantee an allergen-free kitchen. Pair your food with cocktails, beer or other drinks from our bar. Let us know your guest numbers, preferred space and food requirements so we can arrange the right function format for your group.
