Da Guido La Pasta

Gather your favourite people for a birthday, work dinner or special meal at Da Guido La Pasta in Carlton. Our modern Italian restaurant offers a single long dining room, house-made pasta and a considered approach to food and wine. For a private occasion, you can enquire about booking the whole restaurant; we do not have separate private or semi-private rooms.

Our restaurant has 50 seats. Discuss the final group size, table plan and any exclusive-use arrangement with our team before confirming your booking. Groups of six or more are treated as group bookings, with dining options agreed in advance. Larger groups use one set menu for the whole table, and our chefs can discuss a custom menu if you contact us before booking.

The food centres on pasta made in-house, with Italian foundations and international influences. Our tasting menu is listed at $115 per person, with wine pairing available separately. Sharing options and other dining formats can be discussed for your table. Tell us about severe allergies or strict dietary requirements when booking; we take care with preparation but cannot guarantee an allergen-free kitchen.

Wine can be selected on the night or discussed in advance, and group beverage packages run for two hours with an option to extend. BYO wine is not available for tables of six or more. Bring a celebration cake only with advance notice, as cakeage may apply. Approved simple table decorations are welcome, while confetti, glitter and smoke effects are not permitted.

We settle one bill per table and recommend allowing time to arrive. There is no dedicated parking area, although on-street parking and tram services provide options nearby. The setting is best suited to adults and older children who are comfortable with a quiet dining experience; please discuss any requirements for younger guests before booking.
