summarizes
Guests consistently praise Cafe Sydney for its spectacular harbour views, taking in the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, paired with attentive, warm service that makes special occasions memorable. The contemporary Australian menu, featuring standouts like the souffle, octopus, and seafood, impresses regulars and first-timers alike, though a few note smaller portions and high prices. Many describe it as their go-to spot for celebrations, business lunches, and hosting visitors, drawn back repeatedly by the consistent quality and iconic setting.

Great service but even better food. The souffle MUST remain on the menu Recently had a second visit in just 8 days. Simply outstanding. And yes.....the souffle was still on the menu. Just completed my third visit in just under one month. Congratulations to the kitchen and serving staff. It just gets better. Was lucky enough to have a fourth visit in just on two months. The consistency of the kitchen and wait staff is amazing. Do not miss the Murray River Cod. It is quite possibly the best restaurant main I have ever experienced. A fifth visit is currently being planned. Table 423 please!!! Fifth visit completed.

First sit down restaurant in Sydney! The vibes were really on point. The outdoor seating had a lot of space heaters and covers in case of rain, and it has a fantastic view. For the food some were hits and some were okay. The pork had a nice sauce, but the pork itself was a bit fry. The octopus, quail, and souffle appetizers were all well-cooked. The quail had a nice thick chili jam for a bit of sweetness and spice. We got the madeleine's for dessert, and that might have actually been my favorite dish. The salted caramel had a really nice punch of saltiness, and the madeleines were well-spiced, with the ice cream everything paired well.

Been here twice. Amazing spot with view of the habour, opera house and the bridge. Can’t get any better. A few of the endishes like the squid entree and seafood platter is exceptional. Service feel quite robotic but overall great Will definitely come back
