Private evening events and daytime group dining in Richmond
For an evening event, you can book the whole venue privately for up to 100 guests in cocktail style. This option runs from 6 pm to 11 pm, subject to availability. During the day, our rear half-venue area is available on a semi-private basis for a sit-down gathering of up to 30 people. Smaller groups can choose a booth booking for six to eight guests. Daytime options are offered between 8 am and 3 pm, with availability confirmed for your date.
Our all-day menu covers breakfast and lunch, with dishes for adults and children and a selection of vegan options. Drinks include house-made cocktails, craft tap beers, locally sourced wines and spirits. If you are planning a brunch occasion, our bottomless brunch is available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with food and drink options including a non-alcoholic alternative.
The brunch format is a shared group experience: all patrons in the booking must participate, alterations are not included and responsible service of alcohol applies. We also ask you to advise us of dietary requirements. Discuss the menu and arrangements for your event separately from ordinary cafe dining so we can match the booking to your plans.

Fantastic Coffee, nice poached eggs with avocado. The burista guy their is super friendly. He makes a superb coffee, maybe with a bit of art on the lid. I been coming here more frequently since I moved to the area. Cafe Mellow cafe , is definitely my go to for that morning coffee and breakfast 🥰

Café Mellow Fellow in Richmond completely lives up to its name, wrapping you up in this incredibly cozy, plant-filled indoor-outdoor vibe the second you walk through the door. The food and specialty coffee are absolutely top-tier, but what truly blew me away was the team working there—the staff are exceptionally warm, genuinely attentive, and go completely out of their way to make you feel comfortable and take care of you very well . They also run some brilliant deals that make it way too easy to stay for hours, like their weekend Bottomless Boozy Brunch for $65 per person which hooks you up with 90 minutes of endless cocktails, beer, and wine alongside a massive, delicious platter of wings, chips, and bruschetta, plus a neat 10% discount if you swing by for a late lunch after 1:00 PM. It is rare to find a spot that nails the food, the value, and the heartfelt customer service all at once, making this an absolute gem of a cafe that I already cannot wait to visit again!
Reasonable price and generous amount of bread with the baked eggs. Enjoyed my meal and friendly service .
