Didn’t eat the food. The $1.00 poo I took should have been a bit cheaper I reckon. But the stench in the male dunnies was world class. I mean it’s still lingering in my nostrils, and I went there yesterday. The guy behind the bar also needed a personality. In retrospect, I am concerned that he might have actually been dead. So, in summary, yep. I’ll be back.
Went to the Botany View to watch great local band Lahgo. The service was excellent, good prices and great venue. I thought the sound was good also.
The Botany View Hotel offers great food, pool tables, and a fantastic selection of beers, cocktails, and other beverages. It has cozy indoor rooms reminiscent of your lounge room that have comfortable sofas perfect for socializing, while the excellent upstairs courtyard provides a great outdoor escape. On top of that, the dog-friendly owners are massive supporters of the live music scene. The pub effortlessly nails that classic, slightly grungy inner-city vibe. What more could you ask for?
