The kitchen is led by Chef Mauro, who prepares Italian cuisine using fresh, local ingredients. All bread, focaccia, pastries and pasta are made in-house daily. The menu features handmade pasta, sourdough pizzas, and seasonal Italian dishes. The café operates Wednesday to Friday from 11 am to 3 pm, and Saturday to Sunday from 8 am to 3 pm, serving coffee from Sample Coffee throughout the day. The aperitivo bar and restaurant operate Wednesday to Saturday from 3 pm to 10 pm.
For events, the venue accommodates weddings, birthday celebrations, hens parties, baby showers and corporate functions. Customizable food and drink packages are available, and the venue can arrange live music and jazz performances. Additional offerings include pasta-making classes led by Chef Mauro for groups of 4 to 22 people, and a work-friendly café environment with free Wi-Fi on the verandah.

This is hands down the best vegetarian panuozzo I've had! Every bite was amazing - I honestly didn’t want it to end! Even though I accidentally ordered the wrong thing on the menu to begin with, the staff were great, very accomodating and didn’t make a big deal out of it. The atmosphere is phenomenal. I would highly recommend Bloom Potts Point! Even if you’re not in the area it’s one of those cafes/restaurants that’s worth the drive 100/10
We celebrated my sister’s Hen’s activity at Bloom in Potts Point with a group of 10 girls, and it was such a fun experience! The space was perfect for our group and felt lovely and private. Chef Mauro was fantastic and made the experience so enjoyable. He showed us how to make dough from scratch and shape it into traditional Italian pasta styles from different regions of Italy. It was a fun, hands-on experience and we all loved it! Highly recommend Bloom for a group celebration or a unique Italian cooking experience.

Great potential but needs some attention. Bloom has such a good location on the corner with plenty of outdoor and indoor space with lots of sun. I like the eclectic style inside too but I feel it’s bordering on neglected. Mismatched furniture and random ornaments are charming but it feels like it’s gone too far and there is just a bunch of junk sitting around. There’s lots of broken items and dirt too. If you go to the bathroom the toilet lid is broken, there’s a broken cabinet with doors hanging off it, the soap dispenser and hand towel dispenser are broken with written stickers on them saying ‘out of order’ suggesting it’s been that way for a while. There’s loads of dust accumulated in the corners and a general untidiness . The place just feels a bit dirty and needs a serious spring clean. Remove some of the unnecessary items in there and fix some of the broken ones. It would make it feel a lot nicer. Food wise I’ve eaten breakfast and lunch. I found the breakfast a little underwhelming (pear and Gorgonzola toast / ragu with eggs )but the pasta at lunch was great. Execution just isn’t consistent much like the decor. I think the brunette French waiter is very charming but I’ve found the manager/owner to be a bit unfriendly on multiple occasions. There’s so much potential here it just needs a bit of a refresh in my opinion.
