Options include exclusive use of the restaurant and bar area for up to 70 seated guests or 100 in cocktail-style format, dedicated dining rooms for 20–56 guests, and an undercover courtyard suitable for groups up to 40. Set menus are available for events, with customisation offered to suit specific requirements. Daytime functions for groups of 15 or more can be arranged. The restaurant operates Tuesday to Sunday from 5:00 pm, with last orders at 10:00 pm.

Big Mama's in Woollahra has earned its place as a genuine neighbourhood favourite, with regulars returning time and again for its authentic Sicilian cooking and genuinely warm welcome. Homemade pasta, fresh ingredients, and standout dishes like the fettuccine funghi, pumpkin ravioli, and porchetta keep tables full on weeknights and weekends alike. The atmosphere buzzes with families, couples, and long-time locals, all made to feel at home by a team — led by the much-loved Dee — that treats guests like family.
I was here the other day with friends. Staff is lovely and food is delicious. I recommend it highly.
Big Mama's is our go to for all our family get togethers, birthdays, Christmas or simply just catch ups. The food is always delicious, we are taken care of as customers and the ambience of the busy restaurant where everyone is enjoying themselves is wonderful! Had a fantastic meal here recently ordered the pumpkin ravioli, garlic bread, salad and tiramisu. Everything tasted stunning. The manager was incredibly gracious and helpful as were the staff. 5 stars for this place. Thank you for a lovely evening
We were back in Italy - for a couple of hours the other night we were transported back to a Trattoria in Rome with great food, lovely staff and fabulous atmosphere. It was a Tuesday but the place was buzzing with customers, families, couples, regulars and walk-ins. All were welcomed with a friendly face. The food was excellent, particularly the cured meats from the Affettati misti which we shared as a starter. We then had the Fish Special and the Steak - both were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. With our meal we had a beer and three glasses of red wine. We need to go back to have some pasta before we can judge properly (it's an Italian after all) but as a first visit we loved the place. Our waiter Jessica (from France) was just lovely and so friendly taking time to chat and make our visit very special.
