Two fully private dining spaces are available:
- The Good Room, an elegant private dining room in the Restaurant at Bathers, ideal for intimate special celebrations to business lunches with fine food & exemplary service for up to 20 people.
- The Sunroom, a more casual private dining space adjoining Bathers' Bistro, seating up to 22 offering a shared-style bistro menu. Perfect for relaxed get-togethers with family and friends.
Betel Leaf @ Bathers'
Betel Leaf occupies the first floor at Bathers' Pavilion. Seating is available inside the restaurant and extends to outdoor seating on the Terrace. We do our best to accommodate all seating requests, however these cannot be guaranteed.
The Terrace is inspired by the grand hotel resorts of Europe and their breathtaking Mediterranean vista

Overlooking the Balmoral Beach promenade, the buzzing, bold, and bright bistro space is a mix of booth seating, cane chairs and pops of colour. The ambiance reflects the approachable and casual coastal style of Bathers' Bistro.
We take reservations for breakfast for groups of 6+. The group breakfast menu is $45 per person and includes juice and a tea or coffee. To make a group booking, call us on 9969 5050
After a casual private dining space for bigger groups of friends and family? The Sunroom is ideal for up to 20 guests and there's no room hire fee.

Customers consistently praise Bathers' Pavilion for its stunning Balmoral Beach location and beautiful waterfront views. The venue attracts diners for its elegant atmosphere and quality food, though prices reflect the premium beachside setting.
Not our first visit however this will be our last. Service varies on days you go. Weekends are busy so don’t expect good service. Some excellent people work there and some not so good people. Food extremely average for prices you pay for. Had to send my lamb back and they couldn’t provide another meal within a reasonable time frame. Very disappointing appears to have gone downhill or maybe I got unlucky. Staff there could definitely do with some more training. Also quite loud with background noise and speakers above your head. Hard to get staffs attention and it seems they could do with more staff or reduce the amount of patrons. Get the feeling they are looking at quantity over quality.
Good food, good location, good service. Shoutout to Remi @ Bathers Bistro for the excellent service during our multiple visits. Go to dish: Grilled split prawns.
Our server Ko was an absolute gem. He was so friendly, kind and helpful. A standard of service which is hard to find in Sydney. Thank you Ko for making our night even more enjoyable :)
As I was having dinner with my son the same day I wanted something light for lunch. I hadn’t had scallops for a long time and thought it would be a good choice for a light meal. The waitress suggested I added one more to the usual portion of three and I agreed. When they arrived they were about the size of a five cent piece sitting on a bed of oil/butter and parsley. The scallops had no flavour whatsoever only the oily butter. To charge $45 for minuscule scallops is outrageous and to cap it all I had a gastric attack that evening. A fully trained waitress should not be clearing plates away while we were still eating. Needless to say I won’t be going to Bather’s Pavilion again. Very disappointed as I was with two friends celebrating an early Christmas lunch together which is why I didn’t complain at the time!
Love the Bathers Cafe at any time of the day or evening. Beautiful waterfront setting on Balmoral Beach, exemplary service, excellent food at reasonable prices and light, stylish decore. Cafe is a bit on a misnomer as it is definitely more upmarket. The minute you walk through the entrance you know you are somewhere special.
Really delicious food, clever flavour and texture combinations expertly put together. A super wine list too, along with knowledgable friendly staff made for a wonderful evening. Not to mention the view!

Everything you need to know about your event at this venue.
An exclusive wedding is one where The Terrace and Balmoral Room are hired exclusively. A non exclusive wedding is one where only The Terrace or one of our smaller private rooms are hired.
We are able to accommodate most dietary requirements. All dietary requests will need to be submitted 7 days prior to your event.
We have a chair lift that has a seat and can also accommodate an electric wheelchair (up to 300kg).
