About us
Private celebrations in Newcastle’s historic theatre setting
Choose our Mezzanine for a cocktail-style gathering of up to 150 guests, with its own bar and views across the main venue. Our Ground Floor accommodates up to 300 guests, depending on your event configuration. Whole-venue bookings can be discussed separately; the function area can accommodate up to 450 guests overall. These capacities are not seated-dining guarantees.
Build your occasion around roaming canapés, sharing platters, food stations or a more formal meal. We can arrange drinks packages or a bar tab, and our private cocktail masterclasses and whisky or gin tastings offer an interactive addition for groups of at least ten.
Room hire has no separate hire fee, but food minimums and booking conditions apply. Function food requires at least two weeks’ notice. Please discuss your layout and accessibility needs with us before booking: the mezzanine is not accessible to guests who require step-free access. We welcome accompanied children, while outside drinks and food other than a celebration cake are not permitted.
