3by3 Recording and Rehearsal Studios

Bring your band rehearsal, production preparation or video shoot to our Botany Road studios in Waterloo. We offer three air-conditioned rehearsal spaces with professional PA systems and backline, so you can choose the room and equipment setup that suits your session. For video shooting and production rehearsals, speak with us about using Studio 3 and the arrangements your project needs.

Studio 1 gives you 50 square metres of rehearsal space with RCF ART speakers and a Yamaha mixer with built-in effects. Guitar and bass amplification, a five-piece TAMA Silverstar drum kit and a keyboard amplifier are included. Studio 2 provides 40 square metres with a JBL EON 615 PA system, a Yamaha mixer and three microphones, together with guitar and bass amplification, a five-piece TAMA drum kit and a keyboard amplifier.

For a larger rehearsal setup, Studio 3 offers 200 square metres, a PA system, a Behringer WING digital mixer and three microphones. Its backline includes Marshall and Orange guitar equipment, Hartke bass amplification and a five-piece TAMA Superstar drum kit. Please bring your own cymbals for the rehearsal drum kits.

You can book our Botany Road rooms in three-hour rehearsal sessions. Studio 1 and Studio 2 are listed at AUD 80 per session, while Studio 3 starts at AUD 140 for basic rehearsal use. Our studios opened in 2017 under owner and operator Jack Gao. We provide a practical music-making environment for artists and bands, with recording also offered by our wider studio business. This listing covers the three Botany Road rehearsal rooms; our separate Allen Street facilities have a different room inventory.
